Srinagar, July 03, KDC: Authorities on Monday revised traffic advisory for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra—2023 and issued a fresh cut off timing for yatra convoys and yatris.

According to the advisory by the police, the fresh traffic advisory is valid from July 04-September 01, 2023.

From Jammu to Pahalgam (other than Main Convoy arriving from Jammu).

Last vehicle to cross NAVYUG Tunnel towards Valley timing: 1600 hrs, Last vehicle to cross Mir Bazar towards Anantnag  timing 1600 hrs while from Pantha Chowk to Manigam, Distt. Ganderbal (other than Main Convoy arriving from Jammu), the last vehicle to cross Peak Automobile Crossing, Lassjan towards Manigam timing 1530 hrs, last vehicle to cross Shadipora, Sumbal towards Manigam, timing 1600 hrs and last vehicle to cross Manigam Transit Camp towards Baltal timing 1700 hrs

Cut off timings for Convoys /Yatris from Kashmir Valley to NAVYUG Tunnel

From Baltal to NAVYUG Tunnel (other than Main Convoy leaving at 0600 hrs from Baltal)

Last vehicle to cross Pantha Chowk towards Anantnag , timings 1530 hrs

From Mir Bazar to NAVYUG Tunnel (other than Main Convoys leaving at 0600 hrs from from Baltal and at 0600 hrs from Nunwan)

Last vehicle Tunnel to cross Mir Bazar towards NAVYUG timing 1630 hrs and last vehicle to cross Walnut Factory Qazigund towards NAVYUG Tunnel, timing 1730 hrs.

Yatra convoy cut off timings for movement between Jammu Zone and Kashmir Valley

UP Baltal Convoy

Departure from Jammu towards Kashmir for Baltal, timing 0400 hrs and Departure from Lamber Banihal towards Baltal, timing 1000 hrs

DOWN Baltal Convoy

Departure from Baltal towards Jammu, timing 0600 hrs and arrival at Lamber, Banihal, timing 1130 hrs.

UP Pahalgam Convoy Location:*

Departure from Jammu 0415 hrs, Departure from Lamber Banihal timing 1030 hrs

DOWN Pahalgam Convoy

Departure from Pahalgam 0600 hrs, Arrival at Lamber Banihal 0800 hrs and Departure from Manigam towards Baltal 1700 hrs

UP Yatra tourist vehicle other than convoy

Release from Jammu timing 1700 hrs.

UP Yatra/Tourist vehicles other than convoy

Cut off timing at Jammu 1200 hrs, Cut off timing at Udhampur 1300 hrs, Cut off timing at Chanderkote 1400 hrs and Cut off timing at Lamber, Banihal 1500 hrs.

General cut off timing

No Yatri/tourist vehicle shall be allowed to cross NAVYUG Tunnel Towards Kashmir 16oo hrs

No Yatri/tourist vehicle shall be allowed from Pahalgam towards Jammu/Srinagar 1500 hrs.

No Yatri/tourist vehicle shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Srinagar 1500 hrs

No Yatri/tourist vehicle shall be allowed from Gulmarg towards Srinagar 1700 hrs.

Yatris/tourists are advised to travel in Kashmir Valley only between 0700 hrs to 1800 hrs and should plan their travel accordingly, so that they reach their destination within this time period. After withdrawal of ROP, ie 1800 hrs, movement of Yatri/tourist vehicle shall be restricted.

 

Concerned Police/Traffic/SFs shall bring such vehicles to nearest Yatri/SFs camp.

 

“This advisory is valid only for Yatris, Yatra Convoy, Tourists. For other HMVs/LMVs/SFs Convoys, please refer to the Daily Traffic Advisory issued by Traffic Police,” it added. (KDC)
