Srinagar, June 20, KDC: Orchardly, a pioneering agritech startup based in the scenic valleys of Kashmir, has launched its campaign ‘Bagh ki Baat, Orchardly ke Saath.’ This campaign aims to transform apple farming in the region by advocating for a scientific approach to orchard management and use of precision devices in the orchards for better decision making. It aims to empower growers with practical orchard management techniques, scientific growing tips, and advanced Smart IoT devices for enhanced productivity and sustainability.

With its deep-rooted commitment to promoting sustainable and efficient agricultural practices, Orchardly is set to revolutionize the apple farming landscape in Kashmir. The ‘Bagh ki Baat, Orchardly ke Saath’ campaign is a key step towards achieving this vision.

The maiden event of the campaign was successfully conducted today at Naira Pulwama, with over 100 enthusiastic growers in attendance. Alongside practical management sessions and scientific insights, Orchardly introduced its range of Smart IoT devices designed specifically for orchard management.

By combining traditional wisdom with advanced scientific insights, Orchardly’s approach empowers apple growers to achieve higher yields, enhance quality, and reduce environmental impact. The campaign highlights the importance of precision in orchard management, emphasizing factors such as soil health, microclimate analysis, pest and disease control, and optimized irrigation practices.

“Orchardly is committed to revolutionizing apple farming in Kashmir by advocating for a scientific approach,” said the spokesperson of Orchardly. “Our campaign aims to empower growers with the knowledge, tools, and technologies they need to transform their orchards into thriving, sustainable ecosystems.”

The campaign serves as a platform for growers to interact with Orchardly’s expert agronomists, exchange best practices, and learn about the latest advancements in the field. Through personalized advisory services and the deployment of smart technologies, Orchardly strives to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of apple farming in Kashmir.

Ab Ahad Mir, a progressive apple grower, expressed his appreciation for Orchardly’s innovative approach. He said, “The practical orchard management sessions organized by Orchardly have been eye-opening. The introduction of their Smart IoT devices has transformed the way we manage our orchards. Now, we receive real-time weather updates, disease predictions, and precise irrigation recommendations. It has greatly improved our decision-making process.”

Orchardly’s Smart IoT devices offer a range of functionalities tailored to the specific needs of growers. These devices can be installed in orchards to provide crucial information and actionable recommendations. The devices provide micro weather alerts, pest and disease predictions, irrigation and fertigation advisories based on orchard type, crop variety, and stage-wise requirements. Additionally, Orchardly offers complete soil health management through its state-of-the-art soil testing labs and personalized advisories.

Mohd Amin, another grower who attended the event, shared his experience, saying, “Orchardly’s campaign ‘Bagh ke Baat, Orchardly ke Saath’ is a game-changer for growers like us. The personalized support and guidance from their team of agronomists, along with the Smart IoT devices, have brought a new level of efficiency to our orchard management. We feel more confident in taking preventive measures against pests and diseases, resulting in healthier and more productive orchards.”

As the campaign gains momentum, Orchardly is set to organize a series of events, workshops, and training sessions to reach out to a wider audience of apple growers across the region. By fostering a culture of innovation and scientific rigor, Orchardly aims to unlock the true potential of apple farming in Kashmir. (KDC)
