Senior Pakistani journalist and anchor Javed Chuadhary  has made several revelations after his meeting with former Pakistan army chief Gen (r) Qamar Javed Bajwa. In his article, Javed Chaudahry has revealed that Pakistan and India were close to make a ‘peace deal’, open trade between both countries and set aside Kashmir issue for 20 years.

According to Javed Chaudhary, India’s national security advisor Ajit Doval and ISI chief Faiz Hameed  met several times in an Arab country, as part of backdoor diplomacy. It must be noted that meeting between meeting between Doval & Hameed was also reported by several indian media houses in 2021.

In these meetings, both agreed to have a new start between Pakistan and India relations. Both countries were to open trade, announce not to interfere in each other’s affairs or engage in terrorism against eachother and resolve ‘Kashmir issue’ bilaterally after 20 years. All the background work was done and announcements were to be made during Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Pakistan on April 9th, 2021.

Javed Chaudhary writes:

“ISI chief Faiz Hameed met with India’s National Security Advisor Ajit Doval several times in an Arab country, and it was decided that Narendra Modi would visit Pakistan on April 9th, 2021. Modi, who is a devotee of Hinglaj Mata, will go directly to the temple and stay there for ten days. Upon his return, he will meet with Imran Khan and hold his arm in the air, declaring friendship between the two countries.

Modi will also announce the opening of trade between the countries, and that they will not interfere in each other’s affairs or engage in terrorism. They will also agree to make a decision about Kashmir after 20 years. At the time, Shah Mehmood Qureshi told Imran Khan that his political fate will be sealed if he made a deal on Kashmir. The Prime Minister Imran Khanbacked out and the visit was subsequently cancelled.”

Javed Chaudhary, who is considered very close to former military chief General (r) Bajwa, has also made several others revelations after his meeting with former chief. In one of his article, he has claimed that former military chief told him that Imran Khan was too much arrogant and that it was military that kept MQM & other allied parties with Imran Khan for over three years.

It is important to note that in February 2021, both India & Pakistan surprised the world by announcing a ceasefire on Line of Control. The surprise announcement was made in a joint statement by the militaries of the two countries on a ‘hotline contact’ between their directors general military operations (DGMOs), which had apparently taken place a day earlier. The statement said:

“Both sides agreed for strict observance of all agreements, understandings and cease firing along the LoC and all other sectors, with effect from midnight 24/25 February 2021,”
