Srinagar, Oct 19, KDC: At least 17 drug peddlers and narcotic smugglers have been booked under PIT-NDPS in Srinagar, police said here on Wednesday.
Srinagar police on its official Twitter handle, informed that PIT-NDPS is preventive detention for one year akin to PSA.
“Seventeen Drug peddlers and Narcotic smugglers booked under PIT-NDPS. PIT-NDPS is preventive detention for one year akin to PSA, but focused upon persons indulging in drug peddling, narco smuggling etc,” police tweeted. (KDC)
