Budgam, 11 Dec, KDC: A woman was injured during practicing fire in Volina Ichgam area of central Kashmiri’s Budgam district on Friday.
Locals from Ichgam told news agency KDC that a woman identified as Fatima (65) wife of Late Ghulam Rasool received bullet injury in her right thigh when she was in her house and was referred to district hospital Budgam for treatment.
Locals allege that bullets of practice firing from Airport hit some roofs of houses in the village which creates panic among villagers.
Meanwhile, people demanding closure of the firing site had blocked the Budgam-Chadoora road for time and demanded stern action against government forces. (KDC)
