Srinagar, Dec 11, KDC: A grenade was lobbed by suspected militants on government forces at Noorbagh area of Srinagar this morning, however, no damage was reported, officials said Friday.
A police official told news agency KDC that at 6:30 am, a grenade was lobbed by millitants on G/161 battalion of CRPF at Noorbag, Srinagar, which exploded outside the bunker.
“There was no loss of life or injury reported in this grenade attack. But a dog died, who sustained splinter injuries died on the spot,” he said, adding that the whole area has been cordoned off and the search are on in the area (KDC)
