Baramulla, Oct 10, KDC: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla,  Dr. S.F Hamid today chaired a meeting with various stakeholders to review the traffic management plan recently implemented in Baramulla town and seek their feedback and suggestions for its further improvement.

During the meeting, stakeholders broadly appreciated the traffic management plan, acknowledging its potential to improve traffic regulation and ensure smoother vehicular movement across the town. They also put forward several suggestions and proposed minor modifications aimed at addressing local concerns and making the plan more effective.

Addressing the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner said that the primary objective of the administration is to ensure public convenience, smooth traffic movement and hassle-free access to essential services, while ensuring that traders and business establishments do not face any adverse impact on their commercial activities.

He emphasized that the traffic management plan would remain responsive to public feedback and local requirements. The Deputy Commissioner assured the stakeholders that all genuine and feasible suggestions would be duly examined and incorporated wherever necessary for the larger benefit of the general public.
