Srinagar, Oct 04, KDC: Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Saturday reviewed the prevailing security situation and operational preparedness in the Kashmir Valley during a security review and coordination meeting in Srinagar.
The meeting brought together key stakeholders, with Lt Gen Sharma reviewing inputs on the security situation, operational preparedness and existing coordination mechanisms, the Army’s Northern Command said in a post on X.
The Army Commander stressed the need for enhanced inter-agency synergy, real-time intelligence sharing and integrated coordination to strengthen operational readiness and facilitate a rapid response.
He also emphasised greater coordination among agencies to enhance the effectiveness of joint operations, the Northern Command said.
