Srinagar, July 7, KDC: The Regional Passport Office (RPO), Srinagar will conduct a special passport service drive on Saturday, July 11, to cater to the growing demand for passport-related services, according to an official statement.
The statement said that Passport Seva Kendra (PSK), Srinagar, Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK), Anantnag, and POPSK, Baramulla will remain operational on the day to process passport applications under the special drive.
Regional Passport Officer Srinagar, B. S. Rawat, said the initiative has been planned in view of the sustained demand for passport services and is aimed at ensuring timely, efficient and transparent delivery of services to citizens.
According to the statement, applicants can book appointments through the official Passport Seva website for their nearest or preferred Passport Seva Kendra and select a suitable time slot for July 11, 2026.
The statement further advised applicants to report to their designated centre at the scheduled time with the appointment confirmation and all required original documents to facilitate smooth processing of their passport applications. (KDC)
