Jammu: Three persons were killed and two others injured after a car collided with a truck on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Jammu early Sunday, officials said.
The accident occurred in the Jagti-Karli area of Nagrota around 2:15 am, leaving the car extensively damaged.
Officials said two occupants died on the spot, while another succumbed to injuries at Government Medical College Hospital, Jammu. The deceased were identified as Sikander Saifi, Shakti and Mohit Verma, all residents of Haryana.
The injured, identified as Deepak Verma and Kuldeep Sharma, were admitted to the hospital for treatment.
