Srinagar, May 14: A journalist was reportedly injured on Thursday after a deodar tree fell on a moving motorcycle in the Tangmarg area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The injured has been identified as Ubaid Malik, a journalist associated with Early Times.

Reports said the incident occurred in Tangmarg when the tree suddenly collapsed onto the road and struck the motorcycle ridden by Malik, leaving him injured.

He was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Tangmarg for treatment. However, due to the severity of his injuries, doctors reportedly referred him to SKIMS Bemina for advanced medical care.

Further details were awaited.
