Srinagar, may 09, KDC: The much-publicized INDI Alliance stands exposed as an alliance driven more by political compulsion than ideological unity. After the recent political developments and setbacks faced by the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal, visible cracks within the opposition bloc have become deeper and more evident.
Er. Sahil Bashir Bhat, State Spokesperson BJP J&K, stated that the Congress party, which projected the INDI Alliance as a united national alternative, now finds itself politically isolated even among its own allies.
From West Bengal to Punjab and from Delhi to Kashmir, constituent parties of the alliance continue to contest against each other while publicly questioning one another’s leadership and credibility.
In West Bengal, the relationship between Congress and TMC has repeatedly witnessed tensions despite repeated claims of opposition unity. Congress leaders themselves have on several occasions accused TMC of weakening the opposition space and indulging in political opportunism. The recent political setbacks and internal blame game have further reduced the alliance to a mere arrangement without trust or coordination.
Er. Sahil Bashir Bhat further remarked that the people of India are now realizing that the INDI Alliance lacks ideological clarity and survives only on anti-BJP rhetoric without any concrete roadmap for governance or development.
Similarly, the National Conference in Jammu & Kashmir has also maintained issue-based positions that often contradict the larger narrative projected by Congress and other alliance partners. Whether on matters related to governance, Article 370, or regional political strategy, the so-called alliance partners continue to speak in different voices, exposing the absence of a common national vision.
Political observers across the country are openly questioning how parties that fail to maintain coordination and trust among themselves can ever provide stable leadership to the nation, He added.
The reality is clear that the INDI Alliance was formed merely to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP, but it has failed to present constructive policies, unified leadership, or a credible vision before the people of India.
While opposition parties remain occupied in internal conflicts and political survival, the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to work with commitment, stability, development, and national interest. (KDC)
