Srinagar, Apr 19 (KDC): Deputy Commissioner Poonch on Sunday informed via X (formerly Twitter) that the routine mock drill scheduled by Civil Defence and SDRF from April 20 to 24 has been cancelled.
The DC clarified that the exercise was part of standard preparedness measures, and its cancellation should not be a cause for concern.
“There is no cause for alarm. This was a routine readiness drill,” the DC stated, urging the public to remain calm and vigilant.
Authorities reiterated that public safety remains a priority and advised citizens to follow official updates and avoid panic. (KDC)
