Jammu, Apr 06: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Monday stated that the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha did the right thing by ordering magisterial nquiry into Ganderbal encounter.

He was responding to media queries about NC legislators seeking judicial probe, after attending official event in connection with the distribution of government job orders under Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme (RAS) at Convention Centre, Jammu.

“Juidicial inquiry takes a lot of time. It is difficult to get sitting or even retired judge for probe. We only want that facts should come to the fore in an expeditious manner, and the family gets justice,” he said.

Chief Minister, in reply to another question about West Asia confluct, objected to the language used by US President Donald Trump
