Kathua (Jammu & Kashmir), Jan 7: An encounter has broken out between security forces and terrorists in the forested area of Kamadh Nullah in Kathua district, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu said on Wednesday.
According to the IGP, the Special Operations Group (SOG) Kathua has engaged the terrorists after they were located in the dense forest, prompting a coordinated response by the police.
Officials said that additional reinforcements are being rushed to the area.
