Srinagar: Hills of Kashmir, including Gulmarg and Sonamarg, received light snowfall while rains lashed the Valley towards last evening after gusty winds with Weatherman forecasting more rains and snow till today.
The hills of Kashmir including Gurez, Razdan Top, Sonamarg, Gulmarg, Furkiyan Top and Doodhpathri experienced light snowfall since last afternoon.
The gusty winds, however, continued for several hours in the last afternoon at several places, including Srinagar. In the evening, Srinagar and other parts of the Valley were lashed by the rains, bringing the temperature further down across the region.
Meteorological (MeT) department, said that the dry weather conditions would prevail once again from November 6 to 15.
They had also stated that the maximum as well as the minimum temperatures are expected to plummet from tomorrow (November 5) onwards.
