Srinagar, Oct 24, KDC: BJP MLA and former Cabinet Minister Chander Prakash Ganga learned about the sudden demise of his wife due to a massive heart attack after performing his official duties in Srinagar earlier today.
Ganga, as per Kashmir Dot Com, was in Srinagar to cast his vote in the Rajya Sabha elections, fulfilling his political responsibilities despite personal distress. Following the completion of the voting process, he immediately returned to Vijaypur upon receiving the heartbreaking news.
Party leaders and well-wishers expressed deep sorrow over the loss, calling it a personal tragedy for Ganga and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
The cremation is scheduled for today at 5 pm at the Cremation Ground, Sarore Adda, where family members, friends, and colleagues from the BJP and local community are expected to pay their last respects. (KDC)
