Srinagar, Oct 16, KDC: Former J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president and senior Congress leader Vikar Rasool Wani on Thursday launched a sharp attack on National Conference vice-president and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, accusing him of “political hypocrisy” and “betrayal” of allies.

In a social media post, Vikar Rasool as per Kashmir Dot Com said, “It’s shocking to see how shamelessly Omar Abdullah has fallen, now hiding behind the Indian Alliance, after betraying the Congress on Amit Shah’s orders, and desperately begging the PDP and Congress for votes on the Rajya Sabha seat.”

The remarks come amid growing political maneuvering ahead of the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections from Jammu and Kashmir, where opposition parties under the INDIA bloc are trying to reach a consensus on candidates. (KDC)
