Rajouri, Oct 13, KDC: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, on Monday suspended three Block Development Officers (BDOs) for unsatisfactory performance and failure to implement the government’s flagship Aadi Karamyogi Abhiyan in their respective blocks.

According to an official statement, the suspended officers are Khadam Shah (BDO Budhal Old/Rajnagar), Kuldeep Raj (BDO Kalakote), and Dutta Ram (BDO Doongi). The suspension followed a review of progress reports that highlighted non-compliance with directives and inadequate execution of key developmental initiatives.

“The action has been taken due to their failure to execute key components of the Aadi Karamyogi Abhiyan, which aims at strengthening governance at the grassroots level,” a senior official said. He added that the decision reflects the administration’s commitment to accountability and efficient public service delivery in rural development departments.

The Deputy Commissioner has tasked the Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Rajouri with conducting a detailed inquiry and submitting a comprehensive report within seven days. (KDC)
