Srinagar, March 11, KDC: Jammu & Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President, Ms. Mehbooba Mufti, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Shri A.V. Gupta, father of the party’s spokesperson and Youth Vice President Aditya Gupta.
In a statement, Ms. Mufti described Shri A.V. Gupta as a man of great integrity and secular values who dedicated his life to fostering communal harmony and strengthening the ties between the two regions of Jammu and Kashmir. “His unwavering belief in inclusivity and brotherhood made him a beacon of hope in times of growing discord. He firmly believed that Jammu and Kashmir’s strength lay in its diversity and worked tirelessly to bridge the gap between its people,” she said.
Recalling his immense contributions, she emphasized that A.V. Gupta’s commitment to dialogue, peace, and understanding would continue to inspire future generations.
Extending her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, especially to Aditya Gupta, she prayed for strength to the family in this moment of grief.
