Budgam, Mar 6: As part of the ongoing “Thana Divas” initiative aimed at fostering better police-public relations in remote areas, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdi (IPS), visited the Surasyar-Brenwar village in Chadoora today.
Accompanied by DIG Central Kashmir Range, SSP Budgam, and officers from the Charar-e-Sharief Subdivision, he interacted with local residents to address their concerns and reinforce community engagement.
The visit, organized by Police Station Chadoora, is part of the broader efforts to enhance outreach and cooperation between law enforcement and the people in far-flung areas of Budgam district. (KDC)
