SRINAGAR: A 39-year-old woman, Abida Lone, who had been critically injured in a grenade attack on November 3, succumbed to her injuries today.
Abida, wife of Zubair Lone from Naid Khai Bandipora, was on a ventilator at a Srinagar hospital following the attack, which took place near the Tourist Reception Centre (TRC) in a bustling Srinagar market. The incident left at least 12 civilians injured.
On November 8, police claimed they had apprehended three individuals suspected of orchestrating the attack.
