SRINAGAR: The government of Jammu and Kashmir Wednesday ordered the transfer of two senior IAS officers.
According to an order, Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, who previously served as the Administrative Secretary of the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj, has been transferred and posted as the Administrative Secretary of the Planning, Development, and Monitoring Department.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Aijaz, the current Administrative Secretary of the Planning, Development, and Monitoring Department, who also holds additional charge of several other posts, including Administrative Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department, Civil Aviation Commissioner, Public Grievances, and Chief Executive Officer of the J&K Economic Reconstruction Agency, has been transferred and posted as the Administrative Secretary of the Department of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj.
The order also states that Mohammad Aijaz will continue to hold the charge of his additional roles until further orders. (KDC)
