SRINAGAR: An Army jawan was injured today when terrorists opened fire from outside the Sunjwan military station in Jammu.
The attack as per reports occurred around 1100 hours, targeting the sentry post manned by the 36 Infantry Brigade.
In response, Army personnel returned fire, and a massive search operation was immediately launched in the area.
Reports indicate that suspected terrorists were spotted near the Sunjwan Army Camp, close to Jammu Darbar, prompting joint efforts by the Army and police to track down the assailants.
