As per details available, the 5.7 magnitude earthquake occurred at 11:26 IST, with the epicentre in Badkhshan Afghanistan.
The momentarily, yet strong, shock was felt all across the region and the neighbouring territories, though there were no immediate reports of any damage from anywhere.
