Srinagar, March 22, KDC: Traffic movement came to a halt on the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) road on Friday as authorities responded to adverse weather conditions, according to officials.
An official said that vehicular traffic on the SSG road was suspended due to the combination of slippery road surfaces and poor weather.
The official further said that traffic flow would resume once the weather conditions improve, indicating that the closure is a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of commuters. (KDC)
