“IG Verma, arrived at the designated outposts to personally assess the readiness and vigilance of CRPF troops deployed in the district. “The primary focus of the night inspection was to review the operational preparedness of the CRPF outposts, ensuring they were equipped with the latest technology and adequately fortified to withstand potential threats. Verma meticulously assessed the deployment strategies, communication systems, and weaponry to guarantee an effective response to any unforeseen circumstances,” officials said.

In addition to his interaction with the troops, IG Gyanendra Kumar Verma received a comprehensive briefing on the prevailing security scenario in South Kashmir.

“Verma’s dedication to enhancing security measures was evident as he actively participated in discussions to formulate strategic initiatives aimed at mitigating potential risks. The night inspection and comprehensive briefing collectively contributed to a holistic assessment of the security landscape, allowing for informed decision-making at the highest echelons of the CRPF command structure,” CRPF officials said.
