Ganderbal, Aug 16: A 15-year-old boy drowned in nallah Sindh in the Wayil area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.
An official said that Haziq Imtiaz, a resident of Manigam Ganderbal, drowned in nallah Sindh near Wayil today afternoon.
Soon after the incident, a police team, SDRF personnel and local volunteers started a rescue operation to retrieve the body of the boy.
“After hectic efforts, the body was retrieved from nallah Sindh,” he said.
