Srinagar, Jun 27, KDC: A policeman was injured after a nocturnal gunfight broke out between security forces and militants in Hoowra village of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Police in a tweet said that a joint team of police and security forces are on job while a policeman has got injured in the encounter.
Police said that the operation is underway.
“#Encounter has started at Hoowra village of #Kulgam district. Police & Security Forces are on the job. One JKP personnel got injured. Operation in progress. Further details shall follow,” Kashmir Zone Police tweeted. (KDC)
