Srinagar May 08, KDC: Locals have rued the absence of Jio mobile connectivity at Poshwan village in south Kashmir’s Tral sub-district, saying the lack of mobile connectivity has denied their children access to online education.
Local residents say the lack of mobile connectivity has been a stumbling block in their progress on all fronts.
“Jio mobile and the internet have played a major role in the economic progress of India. Unfortunately, we have not been part of that progress, “a local resident Mohsin Hussain told Kashmir Dot Com.
Hussain says the establishment of the Jio mobile tower at Poshwan village will play an important role in the civil mobility of his villagers.
Locals said they took up the establishment of the Jio mobile tower with the government as well as the Jio authorities but they failed to address the issue.
“We hope the Jio authorities will seriously look into this issue for the sake of our school children,” they said. (KDC)
