Srinagar, Mar 30 (KDC): In a yet another shocking incident from North Kashmir, a son has allegedly killed his mother in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police officer told news agency Kashmir Dot Com that a drug addicted man allegedly killed (hanged to death) her mother in the Dangepora area of Sopore during the intervening Wednesday and Thursday night. Soon after the incident, Sopore police team headed by SHO Khalid Fayaz arrested the accused within hours of the crime.
He said that the body of the woman has been shifted to Sub-district hospital Sopore for medico-legal formalities.
Investigation to find out circumstances that led to this incident have been taken up, the officer added. (KDC)
