New Delhi: Senior leader from Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Mir Javid Amin met senior BJP Leader Laxmikant Bajpai (as BJP’s New Chief Whip in Rajya Sabha) at his office

After the meeting, which lasted around an hour, Javid according to a statement said that the talks revolved around suggestions to strengthen the party IN J&K and the strategy to fight for people of UT of Jammu & Kashmir, as the people of J&K have suffered lot since last more than so many decades from the inception of the militancy. During meeting it was further discussed that during the turmoil some miscreants especially influential persons have encroached upon the State Land/Migrant properties/Kachar-i-Land/Mandir Properties, same needs to be retrieved from those influential persons and seek protection of poor people and landless persons during encroachment/ eviction drive which has been started by the authorities.

During the meeting it was further reiterated that the Government of India will not leave the people of J&K at the mercy of God and will fulfil their promise which they have had with the people of J&K after Abrogation of Article 370.
