Srinagar, Feb 09, KDC: A 31 year old pregnant lady was found dead at her residence in Mukhdamyari in Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Local sources said that one pregnant lady identified as Ulfat wife of Mohammad Ashraf Dar, a resident of Mukhdamyari Hajin was found unconscious at her home. Ulfat was immediately shifted to Hajin hospital by her husband, where doctors on checking found her along with two months baby in womb dead.
A doctor on duty confirmed the death of two and said the body has been shifted to Sumbal hospital for further medico-legal formalities.
SP Bandipora Lakshay Sharma however, told KDC that inquest proceedings have been started and the post mortem is going on at Sumbal hospital. The cause of death will be ascertained after postmortem,” he said. (KDC)
