Srinagar, Feb 09, KDC: Authorities on Thursday took possession of a commercial complex, allegedly constructed by a BJP leader on state land at Srigufwara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
An official told news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that the complex was seized as part of the ongoing eviction drive launched by the administration to retrieve state land from encroachers.
He said the complex, allegedly of Sofi Yousuf a former MLC of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir, which has 20 shops, was first seized by the Revenue Department and was later handed over to the Rural Development Department for public use. (KDC)
