Bandipora, Jan 08, KDC: Lakshay Sharma, a 2016 batch IPS officer on Sunday assumed the charge as Senior Superintendent of Police district Bandipora.
According to a statement “On his arrival at District Police Office Bandipora, the new SSP Bandipora was received by ASP Bandipora Ashiq Hussain Tak-,DYSP Hqrs Bandipora Mohmad Shafat -,DYSP DAR,SDPO Sumbal, DYSP PC Bandipora & Hajin and all SHO’S of district Bandipora were also present on this occasion.
The new SSP Bandipora was accompanied by outgoing SSP Mohmad- Zahid, who handed him the charge.
Later on after assuming the Charge, SSP Bandipora visited District Police Lines were he convened an introductory meeting with Police Officers of district Bandipora and impressed upon the officers to work with dedication and zeal to fulfil the aspirations of the people. (KDC)
