Srinagar, Jan 01: Three civilians were killed and Seven others injured in a firing incident in Dangri village of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday evening, officials said.
ADGP Jammu, Mukesh Singh said that the firing incident took place at three houses separated at a distance of around 50 metres from each other at Upper Dangri village.
However, Medical Superintendent, Associated Hospital Rajouri, Dr Mehmood, confirmed three deaths at the hospital. “I am supervising the treatment of the injured. Three have been declared dead and the rest have suffered multiple injuries,” he said.
Sources informed to Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that Deepak Kumar (23) s/o Rajinder Kumar, Satish Kumar (45) s/o Sat Pal Pretam lal (56) son of Lal Lhand all resdient of Dangri Rajopuri were dead in this firing incident.
The injured were identified as Shiv pal s/o Pritam Sharma, Pawan Kumar s/o Sat pal, Rohit Pandit, Saroj Bala w/o Satish Kumar, Sushil Kumar s/o Kundan Lal, Shub Sharma s/o Pritam Lal and Urishi Sharma d/o Satish Kumarall residents of Dangri. (KDC)
