Ganderbal, Nov 02, KDC: As part of ongoing ‘Back to Village-4’ programme, Under Secretary LGs Grievance Cell, Azeeta Qureshi who is Visiting Officer Panchayat Gadoora today inaugurated Panchayat Bhawan at Gadoora.

 During the day, Azeeta Qureshi chaired a meeting with all the frontline departments regarding development of the said panchayat. She also visited various development projects, Health centers, Aanganwadi centers, primary and middle schools in Panchayat Gadoora.

On the occasion visiting officer issued land passbooks, distributed prizes among the students and also inaugurated Gadoora Panchayat Bhawan.

Meanwhile, Azeeta Qureshi also took feedback from the locals regarding the implementation of self-employment schemes in the area. She also carried out a social audit of all developmental projects in the Panchayat along with PRI members and locals.

She also participated in an awareness programme on Drug abuse and urged all to cooperate with the administration to make district Ganderbal drug free.

Azeeta Qureshi directed the officers to focus on saturation of all schemes of their respective departments to provide benefits to deserving people in a transparent and hassle free manner.

Earlier, the Under Secretary also held Maha Sabha to assess the issues pertaining to women folk of the area. While listening to the issues raised by the women, she advised them to take advantage of various social and developmental schemes and contribute towards development of their society.

While interacting with the locals and PRIs Azeeta Qureshi highlighted the objectives of the B2V program and said that the programme is a milestone in achieving rural development and 100% saturation of social welfare schemes. (KDC)
