Bandipora, Oct 08, KDC: The Animal Husbandry Officer (CHO) Bandipora, Dr G A Lone today launched Sexed Semen Technology at Veterinary Complex Bandipora in presence of

BVO Bandipora, Dr M Ramzan Chopan; OI ABS, Dr Khalid Hamid; VAS Quil, Dr Khursheed and trained para veterinarians.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr A Lone said that the introduction of SEXED SEMEN Technology is a wonderful milestone in the progress of Dairy Sector in the district. With the aid of SEXED SEMEN Technology, the chances of Birth of female calf is close to 100%  and this will help to increase the female stock  and accordingly increase the milk pool of the district.

He said that proper training and guidance is provided to the field staff and are already familiar with the introduction of the new technology . Department will provide every possible support to the farmers for enhancing the milk productivity and high quality live stock in the district he said. (KDC)
