Srinagar, Oct 7, KDC: The special investigation agency (SIA) of J&K Police on Friday raided multiple locations in southern Kashmir in connection with militancy funding case.
“These raids are being carried out in Zainapora, Laddi and Melhora villages of Shopian district and in Shangus, Kund Kulgam, Achabal and Poshkeeri villages of Anantnag district”, official sources said.
The local police and CRPF are assisting the SIA in the smooth conduct of these raids.
Reports reaching news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) said that raids were conducted at the residences of Murtaza at Chadroo Tral Payeen, Irfan Itoo at Poshkreeri Bijbehara, Sajad Dar at Deethu Mattan, Haq Bhat at Ladi Zainpora, Ismail Koka at Malhura Zainpora and Sajad Baniya at Kanchlo Kund.
An official confirmed the raids and said details pertaining to these raids will be shared after concluding of searches.(KDC)
