Srinagar, Aug 22, KDC: Two civilian were injured in a grenade blast that took place in Sangam area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday evening.
Reports reaching KDC said that militants hurled a grenade towards CRPF camp of 136 Battalion in Sangam, however, it missed the target and exploded outside the camp, resulting in minor injuries to two civilian.
The injured persons has been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment, and are said to be ‘stable’.
Both injured person were identified as Amir Ahmad Lone son of Mohammad Abdullah and Shakil Ahmad Lone both residents of Sangam.
The area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers and a case is also being register in this regard. (KDC)
