Srinagar, June 02 (KDC) A Bank Manager from Rajasthan was shot dead on Thursday by militants in Arreh area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Sources said that the Bank Manager of Ellaquai Dehati Bank (Branch Kulgam) was fired upon by militants, leaving him critically injured.
The injured was immediately shifted to district hospital Kulgam where he was declared brought dead by the doctors.
The deceased has been identified as Vijay Kumar, a resident of Rajasthan.
After the attack, Police and security forces rushed to the spot and the whole area was cordoned off to nab the attackers. (KDC)
