Srinagar, May 19, KDC: Deputy Mayor Srinagar Parvaiz Ahmad Qadri along with corporator Ghulam Nabi Sofi and Fancy Jan besides other officers took stock of the civic services being provided by the corporation in Parimpora and Lawaypora areas of summer capital Srinagar.
According to a statement issued by the corporation the Deputy Mayor took stock of the civic services being provided by SMC. The representatives and locals of Parimpora, Lawypora and other adjoining areas have thanked the Qadri for the visit and apprised him with the grievances of their areas like Construction of drainage system at Arampora Qamarwari, up-gradation of sanitation, Construction of Marriage Hall at Shakoor Colony near Dewatering Station, drinking water shortage at Sheikh Mohalla Arampora, Construction of dispensary and Development of park at Barthana near Shrine of Rahmat Ullah Sahib, roofing of Imam Bada at Gund Hassi Bhat Srinagar.
The Deputy Mayor gave on spot directions to concerned Officers to take appropriate necessary action with respect to the issues pertaining to each of them and also directed for framing of necessary estimates for providing of above detailed facilities as requested by the representatives/ locals of Electoral Ward No. 29 Parimpora and 31 Lawypora and others adjoining areas.
Qadri was accompanied by Executive Engineer (LRWD) SMC, Executive Engineer (S&D-II), Executive Engineer City Roads Division, SMC, Executive Engineer PHE (Master Plan Division) Srinagar, and other Officers of the Corporation. (KDC)
