Bandipora, Apr 26: A teenage boy was found dead near a water canal in Kuloosa area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Tuesday.
An official told news agency KDC that the body was spotted by locals late in the evening and they informed the police accordingly.
He said that the deceased was identified as Umer Farooq Mir (16), son of Farooq Ahmad Mir a resident of Dachigam area.
A police officer said that a case has been registered and investigation has been set into motion. (KDC)
