Srinagar, Apr 26 (KDC): An injured Sarpanch, who along with others had met with an accident on Monday at Pattan area in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, has succumbed to his injuries, taking the toll to three.
As per an official, the deceased Sarpanch, who has been identified as Abdul Jabbar son of Abdul Rahim Lone, a resident of Lachipora Baramulla, was travelling in a vehicle along with other PRIs towards Baramulla when their vehicle had a head-on collision with a tipper on Srinagar-Baramulla highway
In the accident, two persons including Sarpanch and a driver of the vehicle died and left half a dozen others injured.
Among the injured ones was Jabbar, who succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday at SKIMS hospital, the official said. (KDC)
