Srinagar, Apr 21 (KDC): Residences of an IAS officer Navin Choudhary Principal Secretary, Agriculture Production and Farmers Welfare and several other officers were raided by Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday.

Sources told Kashmir Dot Com that the agency, besides Choudhary’s residence, raided residential places of Chenab Valley Projects Construction Limited’s former officers and a construction company in Jammu, Bihar, Mumbai and New Delhi.

The raids were carried out by CBI, as per sources, in connection to a corruption case registered by the agency at the behest of the J&K UT Government following allegations of former J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik that he was offered bribe to the tune of Rs. 300 Crore to clear two files.

Following Malik’s allegation, J&K had approached the CBI to have charges investigated as it has been raised by the former governor of the state. (KDC)
