Srinagar, Mar 10, KDC: A bank guard was injured after suspected militants apparently tried to snatch a 12 bore rifle in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday, officials said.
They said that unknown gunmen, probably ‘militants’ fired upon one bank guard identified as Abdul Hamid, a resident of Tahab posted at TP Branch Murran Chowk Pulwama.
Hamid was immediately shifted to hospital and is being treated.
Security forces have reached the spot and massive searches are to nab the attackers, they added. (KDC)
