Srinagar, March 06, KDC: A civilian was killed and at least twenty seven people were injured after militants on Sunday attacked security forces by hurling Grenade at Amira Kadal area of Central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
A police officer told KDC that militants attacked a joint team of Police and security forces with a grenade. In this incident around twenty seven people received wounds who have been shifted to SMHS hospital.
Civilian identified as Mohammad Aslam Makdhoomi, a resident of Makdoom Sahib Nowhatta who was injured in this attack succumbed to his injuries at SMHS hospital here.
The injured persons who are being treated in at SHMS hospital were identified as Zoha minor, Ghulam Mohammad, Shaziya 25 resident of Nowhata, Parveena age 26 w/o Abid R/o Batmaloo, Shabir Ahmad R/o Magam, Ulfat Aage (23) R/o Kupwara, Suhani (16) daughter of Shabir Ahmad, resident of Kulgam, Farhana (28) resident of Hazratbal, Nazia (35) R/o Chettabal, Ayaz (42) R/o Hazratbal, Amatuk Rehman (10) R/o Chanapora, Najma (25), Abdul Gaffar (50), Ateera (35), Danish (17) R/o Kupwara, Rubeena (34), Asmat (20), Reyaz Ahmad (40), Dilshada (25) R/o Balhama, Muhammad Aman (10) R/o Nowgam, Qaiser (20) s/o Ab Majeed Bhat R/o Kupwara.
