Bandipora, Mar 2, KDC: Post pandemic, offline schooling started across Kashmir on Tuesday. Following the directions of higher authorities, the students of government Girls higher secondary Bandipora were given a warm welcome by the principal and the staff members of the school.
On the gate, the students were given sweets and some motivational songs were played to encourage the students on the first day of the current academic year.
A festival-like atmosphere reigned inside the school premises and all the staff members and students were seen in queue clapping for the students entering the school after a gap of more than two years.
Principal of the school Mohammad Rafiq Parrey said, “Our school is ready for every challenge and our focus would be to fill the learning gaps created by the COVID-19 induced school closure.
The students missed the flavour of offline schooling for almost two years and I have advised the teaching faculty to focus more on clearing the basic concepts in the first fortnight of the month, he said adding that “All the SOP’s were followed inside the school and its classrooms. The teachers were seen motivating and encouraging students on the first day of schooling.”
