SRINAGAR, February 14, KDC: Former Minister and  Apni Party Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir on Sunday visited Danpora, Brane where he met with  scores of local youth participants and party workers.

Mir said that people, especially our youth have apprised him about a numerous of problems currently faced by them due to which a major section of our youngsters are overcome in a feel of utter gloom and isolation.

“The promises made by the successive governments for generating employment opportunities in Jammu and Kashmir, both in public and private sectors, have remained confined to mere announcements. As the authorities fail to provide appropriate platforms to our talented and educated youth, they are being consumed by social evils. The government holds a moral tenure to generate employment opportunities but it is acting unaware of their genuine demands. If the Apni Party comes to power, it will ensure that youth are not deprived and they are given sufficient opportunities to work in the fields they have aimed for,” he said.

On this occasion, numerous locals also met with Mohammad Ashraf Mir and expressed their grievances before him Mir assured them to raise their woes before concerned authorities in order to resolve the issues without any further delay. (KDC)
