Srinagar, Feb 08, KDC: Security forces launched a cordon and search operation (CASO) at Potu-Mohalla area of Ajas in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday.
Reports reaching Kashmir Dot Com said a joint team of army,and Police cordoned off Potu-Mohalla area of Ajas and conducted searches there.
Reports said that all entry and exit points towards the area were sealed off by the security forces.
Sources told KDC that a search operation was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
They said that CASO was called off after nothing was found in the area. (KDC)
